My item came with slight discolouring/ off white stains, what should I do?
All products of our products use DTG printing. DTG printing is a digital printing technique that uses specialized inkjet technology to print designs directly onto garments. During this printing process, a fixation agent is applied to the fabric to help the ink bond with the fibers, which can result in off-white residue stains on the garment which are not permanent.
To remove these stains, the garment must simply be washed. Instructions to do this can be found below.
It is important to follow these washing instructions carefully as this ensures the longevity of the print on your garment.
How should I wash my garment?
1. Wash the t-shirt inside out: This helps to protect the print from rubbing against other items in the wash, which can cause it to fade or peel.
2. Use a mild detergent: Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach, as they can cause the print to deteriorate over time. Instead, use a mild detergent to prevent this.
3. Wash in cold water: Hot water can cause the print to crack or fade, so it's best to wash DTG printed t-shirts in cold water.
4. Use a gentle cycle: A gentle cycle will help to prevent the t-shirt from getting tangled or stretched, which can also damage the print.
5. Avoid tumble drying your DTG garments as this can shrink, fade and degrade the print.
6. Avoid additional fabric softeners: Fabric softeners can coat the fibers of the fabric and cause the print to lose its vibrancy. If you must use fabric softener, opt for a vinegar rinse or use a detergent that already includes a fabric softener.
